Before I travel usually I use Google Map to plan and organize my itinerary, so I know where I should go according to the distance from my hotel. When I’m there I can also use Google Map mobile to find out where to go and how to get there.
Google Map Mobile now have this My Location (beta) feature. If your mobile phone have GPS then run your Google Map Mobile and hit 0. You can see a blue dot showing your pinpoint location. Can’t afford GPS phone? No problem you will also see a blue dot with a big blue circle showing your approximate location.
How it works? It say something about information something and something sending something from the towers… hahahaha… you better head to Google Map Mobile (http://google.com/gmm/mylocation.html?hl=en) for more information or your mobile browser to www.google.com/gmm . Remember folks, its still new and still beta, but its better than nothing right?
